SLEEP NUMBER BED!

At approximately 12:06am this morning, Ben and I completed the assembly of our new Sleep Number Bed.  It was relatively easy to put together and the rewards were great.  I'd say that I can finally look forward to going to sleep--but we all know that that wouldn't be news.

Here is a step-by-step photo explanation of the process:

The comfort foam pad is unrolled and left to expand to its full potential.

The base frame is assembled.

Ben really stands behind his hard work!

Building the Mattress: Air chambers are ready to begin inflation...

Testing out the newly assembled mattress...

The wonderfully comfortable and spacious finished product

The next project involves purchasing a new bed skirt and building our very own new headboard.  I'm convinced that building the headboard (in the next week or so) will cover a multitude of days of new things (using a staple gun, buying upholstery fabric, stapling myself with a staple gun, learning what quilt batting is, etc).  Until then, do something new and give me a day off!
