Ben tried to leave for work in his car...which was dead. Therefore he had to take my car to work today. This led me to have to walk to the grocery store for my dinner supplies. Once at the grocery store, I read through my ingredients. The recipe called for 16 oz. of any pasta. At the words "any pasta", a light bulb went on in my head. This could be an opportunity to try a new type of pasta. I typically select elbow, spaghetti, fettuccine, farfalle or rigatoni for my pasta dishes so I was certain to pass all of those by. Today I selected Gemelli--which looks like this:
According to wikipedia, gemelli is also referred to as unicorn horns. If unicorns were real, I'd say I could see the resemblance. Here is the unbelievably yummy finished product:
While at the grocery store, I decided to try a new beverage as well. Perhaps I wanted to make up for the fact that I didn't do anything new yesterday. Maybe I was just really thirsty. Whatever the reason, I selected a Razzleberry Tea by Peace Tea. It was 23 oz of delicious refreshing tea. I couldn't tell you what a razzleberry is, but it is good! I wonder when razzleberry season is...can you make razzleberry pie?
Claude loves Razzleberry Tea
Anyway, tomorrow I hope to participate in my first yoga or Zumba class at the Y. We'll see if I can step up to the challenge or if I resort to trying something new in the food department...again ;-)
