A Wax Seal

Today I decided to travel back in time to seal a letter with wax...and a seal.  My original plan to go to Zumba/Yoga had to get pushed back as I forgot that I have book club this evening.  Perhaps I can still get exercise and go for a swim when we're done with book club.

Anyway, my mother-in-law gave me wax seal supplies a year or so ago and I had never yet used it.  I just finished making a wedding card for a friend when I thought I'd seal the envelope with class.  The instructions encouraged me to moisten the surface of the seal with and ink pad which would not only keep wax from clinging to the seal, but would also make a cool two-tone effect.  You can see the results below!  I only wish I sent letters more often so I could seal them all with wax.
