New, cool websites...new to me, anyway

Wow, three days of in-service done already.  Crazy how time flies when you're having fun!  The thing is, in-service was really very cool this year.  The first day was my favorite...of course, it was technology day.  I got to spend the whole time in the "advanced" class.  Basically we messed around with Google Docs for an hour and then had a list of about 30 free sites/resources that we had to play with and report on to the rest of the class.  Some of my favorites include:

1) tourwrist.com -- check out 360 degree photography of places all over the world, homes, and hotels
2) twiddla.com -- basically a group doodle pad that was super fun to play on with 20 teachers who were stuck in in-service all day; it was all fun and games until someone erased my smiley face
3) nasa.gov -- because space is awesome

and last but not least...

4) creately.com -- no need to download, build graphs, charts, brain maps online for free; have multiple editors; and make sweet Venn diagrams about you and your husband (pictured below)

All in all, it was the funnest in-service ever!  Tomorrow I plan to do no less than 3 new things to make up for the last 2 days of nothing. Please forgive...and wait with eager anticipation!
