Day 5 - Gnomeo and Juliet

I have to admit that today's new thing is a slight "wimp out".  Wimpy though it was, it was also enjoyable. My day consisted of three separate visits with friends and family which did not allow a lot of time for accomplishing new things.  Anyway, this evening two of my sisters and I ordered a movie on demand (which we'd never done before) and watched Gnomeo and Juliet (which none of us had seen).

Though the soundtrack mostly consists of Elton John remixes and the story is, as you'd guess, rather predictable, we all enjoyed the flick.  I happen to like James McAvoy whose voice was featured as the title role of Gnomeo.  Here are some quick reactions to the film from me and my sisters:

Favorite character: 

Angela - Featherstone the flamingo

Stephanie - Featherstone

Kimberly - Shroom

Better Garden:

Angela - Red, the Tiki Room theme song fountain

Stephanie - Red, they had the better fountain

Kimberly - Unavailable for comment due to falling asleep

The Gnome you would put in your garden:

Angela - the fishing gnome 

Stephanie - the sunburned sunbathing gnome wearing a thong

Kimberly - all of them (I can't wait to see her future garden)

All in all, if you want to be pleasantly entertained, watch this movie!
