The New Workspaces

Today marked the debut of my nameplate at the music store! I suppose that makes me a super awesome official teacher.  It was spelled right and everything. After bragging about my new nameplate to my 11-year old students--who frankly didn't seem to appreciate the significance of the occasion--we had some great lessons learning about music, fixing broken saxophones and discussing the details of our evolving zombie costumes for Halloween.  As I packed up my things at the end of lessons, I remembered to snap pic of my nameplate for the blog. (Please ignore the unintentional advertising for the iRig).

I also wanted to include a picture of my work-in-progress work station at my new job as director of communication. Yes the desk is small, but I have all I need. It actually looks a lot different now since I bought a sweet new printer/copier/scanner and attached a calendar to the wall.  Please note the awesome comfort that awaits me in my cool brown chair with armrests.  I am in the lap of luxury.  All I need is a seat warmer and I'll be ready for anything (the AC is set on max all day).

By the way, I'm supposed to be on Facebook at work!
