This is a very delayed post about a small adventure Ben and I had almost a month ago. Though we've lived in Milwaukee for over 10 years, we have never really hung out at the lake. We were bored one day and decided to change this. We loaded up the RC Crawler (which I'll cover in another post) and headed out. Walking along the lakefront, talking to each other and driving the crawler over some pretty intense piles of rock really made us work up an appetite. But where could we find food on the lake?

The thought had barely crossed my mind when I saw the Northpoint Snack Shop out of the corner of my eye. I lifted my head to find that it wasn't a mirage...nay, it was real, tangible and 50 feet away from us. Ben agreed that we needed to get some ice cream immediately...so we did.
The sundae was delicious...and we shared...to save money and calories! If you're down by the lake and have never given this Milwaukee landmark a try, do so at your earliest convenience!
UPDATE: This original post is from over a month ago...but two days ago Ben and I returned to the Northpoint Snack Shop to test the edibility of their burgers. Good news, their burgers are indeed edible!
