The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones

Today I discovered something amazing: The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones are on Netflix instant stream.  Here's how it went down:

My sister stopped by to drop off some books and eat rice while I ate some stir fry. We thought we might watch something while we nourish our bodies and, naturally, I turned to Netflix to fulfill this need.  I flipped about the various genres for only a moment or two when The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones appeared on the screen.
"No way! This is amazing!" I shouted, causing Stephanie to look up in alarm. "The Adventures of Young Indidana Jones are on Netflix. We are watching this now."  Steph agreed and we settled in. You see, despite my admiration for Indiana Jones and my being of proper age when this series was originally released, I had not seen a single clip of the show.  I didn't even know it had existed until many years after it was cancelled (due to its large budget, by the way) and have been wanting to see it ever since.

Steph watched the first episode with me and Ben arrived home just in time to take her place and keep me company during the second.  It was everything I hoped it'd be: great sweeping music, exotic locales, occasional ridiculous and corny story lines which somehow remained endearing.  I'm so glad there are 20 more episodes left...and I haven't even met the older younger Indiana Jones yet.

Other than my urge to watch The Last Crusade and possible Raiders right now, I am satisfied and ready to drift off into archaeological dreams of adventure and intrigue.  Good night!

The classic "This belongs in a museum!" young Indina Jones I'm used to...I'm hoping these new ones will be just as memorable...
