Today, on January 2, I am resolved to do a better job with my blog. My dear sister is hassling me and I feel pretty bad about my 12 day hiatus. I'm going to ease into things...keep it simple. I may even go back in time and share some of the awesome things that happened in the last 12 days.
Anyway, today I made French toast for the first time. It was extremely simple and pretty delicious. I used a random recipe from allrecipes.com using eggs, milk, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. The only thing I would change would be the type of bread I used. I didn't feel like going shopping so just used what I had in the house...which was honey wheat bread. I think it would taste much better with an unflavored, thicker typed of bread. Ben didn't notice any honey wheat flavor and thought it was great. He's a good guy!
