The Avengers: a failed review

So, I saw The Avengers a while ago...I was going to write this detailed movie review for the blog...but it never  materialized.  I thought I would share my brief notes on the topic, however.  See if you get more out of it than I can (I barely remember even typing these out--well, except for the first one. I definitely remember that one.)

- I love Tony Stark
- Thor related to that jilted lover from Hunger games?
- appearance of Colby Smulders a bit distracting
- dragged out fight scenes (Thor vs. Iron man and Thor vs. the Hulk)
- everything that flies is awesome (battleship, fish w/ exoskeleton, Thor, Ironman)
- Portal effects awesome
- attack from outer space getting a bit old, but what else you going to do...
- double stingers - I was intrigued and entertained
- actually thought Scarlett Johnasson was badass
- renewed my urge to be awesome at archery
- Thor is not a god, he's an Asgaard

  1. I think you forgot a few:

    - it's badass to have only one eye and see everything
    - the security guard that found hulk = funny
    - the takacs quartet playing Schubert at the party was neat
    - is it really possible for iron man to run out of power?
    - paul bettany as Jarvis

    :)
