The Fifth Anniversary

2013 is a year of anniversaries. First of all, it's the 31st anniversary of my birth.  It's my 8th anniversary of being a teacher.  Ben and I have been married for 5 years. AND this will be my 5th attempt at Nanowrimo.  We'll let you decide which of these is most important!

Now, for those of you who may not know, Nanowrimo is National Novel Writing Month.  Here's a recap of the last five years:
2009: I surpassed the goal by getting almost 53,000 words of a novel done. Novel is still unfinished.
2010: I massively failed, writing only 3,000 words...none of which I can find anywhere.
2011: I did a bit better getting to 6,000 words before giving up.  Novel is unfinished, though I really enjoy the story line and hope to get back to it someday.
2012: A bit better again, getting to 15,000 words before life kicked my butt and made me stop.  Not sure I'll ever revisit this one.
2013: My fifth Nanowrimo anniversary. Can I do it? I think so!

Speaking of each post...I know what you're thinking.  You're thinking, "Angela! You haven't written a word since June.  How are we to believe even for a moment that you're going to start up again?!"

Well, I have only one response for you.  "You have no way to know for sure...just have faith...and get on my case if I don't."
